This year is Dr. Ramp’s first year teaching at Chapin High School, although she has been teaching for 15 years at other schools, including Dutch Fork High, Roswell High, Alpharetta High, and also Webb Bridge Middle School. At Chapin she teaches English 1 and English 3 here at Chapin High School.
For her education, Dr. Ramp has been to multiple schools, she says, “For undergrad I went to the University of South Carolina, for my first and second masters, I went to Augusta University, and then for my doctorate I went to the University of South Carolina.”
Originally Dr. Ramp made the move to Chapin for her family because they all live here in Chapin. “But I really love it here now that I am here,” she says. Dr. Ramp said she is excited to be working here at Chapin. Her favorite part of Chapin is her department, “I walked into a phenomenal department where all the teachers are so kind.”
