Toga day is the last day of spirit week, Friday, for Chapin high school students (specifically for seniors). Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors wear beachwear instead because this is the day where seniors get to stand out from the crowd. This has been a past tradition for many years at Chapin High where seniors dress up in togas.
This day is filled with photo opportunities with friends and fun sights viewed by the whole school. This is a day where seniors should feel special about themselves because this is their last year in high school, in which they should feel at their fullest each day, and this day is one of the many days they can express it openly.
This day is a day many seniors look forward to, and is a day that many underclassmen, including juniors, wish to part-take in during their senior year, too.
