Chapin High School Teacher Mr. Neilsen is in his third year of teaching.
His classes include Psychology and Modern World History. Mr. Nielsen worked at Irmo High School before working at Chapin. He said, “I student taught at White Knoll High School, but I also did a little bit of teaching at Airport and Lexington High School.”
Mr. Nielsen went to College of Charleston and got his Masters at USC. He got his Bachelors degree in psychology and went back and got his Masters degree in the Art of Teaching.
Growing connections and the students he teaches are some of the reasons why Mr. Nielsen loves teaching. He plans to continue his teaching journey and keep making many more memories and connections.
