Mrs. Moseley has been in the teaching education system for years. Mrs. Moseley, Chapin High’s Career Specialist, originally started her teaching career at Harbison West Elementary school as a former 4k teacher. She thought the school was “fun and an easy but meaningful job.” She worked there for a year and a half, an experience said she “loved the little kids but it was a lot of work.”
Before she started her teaching career she was a graphic designer for 10 years completing professional and personal projects. Currently, she still does freelance graphic work, however, her greatest achievement in this area was doing a final project at the South Carolina State Museum.
Mrs. Moseley said she came to Chapin High school “firstly because of my kids. I wanted to have an aligning schedule with theirs so I could see them everyday.” She enjoyed teaching older kids. “The older students are much more manageable and more mature, along with being a lot easier to work with,” she said. Mrs. Moseley said she also enjoys Chapin High. “It has a great staff, they’re all considerate and enjoyable to be around.”
Mrs. Moseley has enjoyed her time throughout her careers. Her favorite and her challenging jobs always made her feel accomplished. Each job gave her a unique experience from the last and each opportunity was an “exciting adventure to explore.” She said she “can’t wait to see how her current job here at Chapin will measure up and what new chances and strengths she’ll get to have here in the future. Mrs. Moseley is excited for what the next coming years here at Chapin High will hold for her.
