Each academic year presents new opportunities for growth and connection within our school community, and this year is no exception. We are especially delighted to introduce one of Chapin’s newest faculty members, Mr. Vishnu, whose arrival brings not only extensive expertise but also a deep commitment to student learning and academic excellence.
With over 30 years of experience in the field of education, Mr. Vishnu is a seasoned mathematics instructor whose teaching career spans a broad spectrum of subjects—from foundational mathematics to College Calculus and Advanced Placement Calculus. His professional journey is marked by both a passion for the discipline and a dedication to nurturing students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Reflecting on his experience so far, Mr. Vishnu expressed his appreciation for the supportive environment he has encountered at Chapin: “It has been wonderful, and I love the big family spirit here.” His words reflect not only his enthusiasm but also the welcoming nature of the school community, which has embraced his arrival with warmth and respect.
Teaching runs deep in Mr. Vishnu’s lineage. As the son of a teacher and the grandson of a university professor, he was inspired from a young age by the transformative power of education. This family tradition continues through his own career, and he notes, “My family is excited about me teaching in Chapin and the opportunity it gives me.” His pride in continuing this legacy is evident, and it adds a deeply personal dimension to his professional accomplishments.
