It’s that time of year again. Girl Scout Cookie season!

The cookie season started on January 2, 2023 and ends on March 12, 2023. The Organization has some of your favorite cookies, but wait until you try the new cookie, the Raspberry Rally. The Raspberry Rally is like a Thin Mint cookie but with Raspberry in it instead of mint and a hot pick center. You can only order this cookie online starting February 27. 2023. 

You may be used to the cookie names Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, CarmelDelights, Lemonades, and ShortBread but, this year The Girl Scouts have switched bakers so the cookies will have different names, but will they still be yummy. The new names include Samoas, Do Si Do, Thin Mint, Smores, Trefoils, Raspberry Rally, Lemon Ups, Adventurfuls, and the Tagalongs. Girl Scout Cookie booths will be showing up soon at your favorite stores on the weekends where you can buy as many boxes of cookies as you like.

Each box of cookies is $5 with a portion of the sales going directly back to the Girl Scout troop. Students say some of their favorite Girl Scout Cookies are the Thin Mints, CaramelDelights, and the Lemonades. At the Girl Scouts Mountains Leadership Center in downtown Columbia they have received almost 40,000 cases of cookies.  That is over 480,000 boxes of  Girl Scout cookies!
