CHS choral students went to the All State choral auditions Friday, November 2 after first making it through Mrs. Brasche’s grading process. This process included getting 9 percent of all pitches and rhythms correct. At the All State audition, students had to perform “Hallelujah, Praise the Lord” by Handel as a quintet. The next step involved a sight reading piece, which is singing a piece the student is unfamiliar with.
Hannah O’Quinn, Alexis Keith, Amanda Kaiser, Emmy Burch, Brittany Thompson, Braydon Manley, TJ Longshore, Matthew Pace, Austin Hinen, Connor Wheaton and Eli Aiken were successful. They will be attending the All-State weekend in the spring.
