Five Chapin Sports in Playoff Runs
Chapin High School currently has five sports programs in playoffs runs, soccer (boys and girls), baseball, boys tennis and softball.
Girls soccer beat Greer 7 to 1 in the first round of the playoffs to advance to play South Pointe at home at 6:30 on Wednesday, May 4th.
Boys soccer beat Blue Ridge 10-0 in the first round of the playoffs to advance and host Seneca at home at 6:30 on Thursday, May 5th.
Baseball is currently in the district round of playoffs. They are in district four with Chapman, Wren, and South Pointe. It is a double elimination tournament. Chapin has lost one game against Chapman, but they replay them away on Wednesday, May 4th in an elimination game. The winner will go on to face Wren to see who will advance against Wren on Friday, May 6th.
Softball is also in the district round of playoffs. In district four with Chapman, Broome, and Belton-Honea Path. The girls are 2 and 0 in the district and will face the either Broome or Chapman on Friday, May 6th in an advancement game.
Chapin Boys Tennis won their first round match up against Blue Ridge 5 to 1. The boys will go on to face at Clinton on Thursday, May 5th.
