Historical Win for Chapin Football
Chapin wins! Chapin wins! Chapin defeated District 5 opponent, Irmo High School, 34-31 for the first time in school history on Saturday, September 3rd to advance to 2-1 on the year.
Chapin had some big performances that would help get this history making win. Junior Quarterback, Trad Beatty, lead the Eagles offense to 34 points by throwing for 253 yards and two TDs. Beatty also rushed for 48 yards and a TD. On defensive side of the ball Mac Eason, Senior Linebacker, had 11 tackles against his former team.
Chapin will play Newberry at home on Friday, September 9th, at 7:30 p.m. After beating Newberry 35-13 last year, the Eagles will look to repeat that performance to win their third game in a row.

Great win and a good story! Would love to see some quotes from players or coaches about the historical win though. Go Chapin!
