Chapin Volleyball Bounces Back
With a record of 4-2 in the region, Chapin Varsity Volleyball has come far this season, overcoming new obstacles and challenges on the court. With several players facing injuries, the team overall has
conquered new heights by building up yet another strong team after losing experienced seniors last year.
Julia Wheaton, a senior on the volleyball team, said “the team this year looks really good and we had instant chemistry. We’ve been working really hard and I’m super proud to be part of this team.”
Despite their challenges, Chapin volleyball has a record of 9-3.
“Obviously our team has lost five starters from last year, and we’ve had a whole new group come in. So it has been (different from last year), and we’ve had to developed some leadership roles, we’ve had to establish the other roles on the team, but also we’ve had to deal with a lot of injuries this season that has set us back a little bit,” said Coach Jenny, Chapin’s head volleyball coach, describing the teams hardships this season.

Good article girls! Would like to see a little more depth about the season itself, but good topic! It could use some slight tweaks from an editor, but the quotes are very good. I hope everyone in J3 is still doing well!
