Beta Club’s Induction
Beta Club has been a tradition of honor for any student to be in. On November 29th the new members of the Chapin High School’s Beta Club had an induction ceremony. There were 73 Freshman, 18 Sophomores, 16 Juniors, and Seven Seniors planned to be inducted into the Beta Club. Dr. Ross, the guest speaker, commended the inductees for their hard work. When asked about how he felt about the new members of Beta Club, co-president Braden Staub said, “I feel very excited for this year with the induction that over 30 new members to our organization. I look forward to their involvement in the future and expanding our club even further.”
The ceremony was introduced with a welcome, and the Pledge of Allegiance. Afterwards, Dr. Ross was invited up to give a word of wisdom to the inductees. The mission statement of the club was the read out and later the history of the Chapin High School Beta Club was told while the presidents and co-presidents lit the Beta Club candles which represented the pillars of the club.
If anyone is interested in joining the Beta Club next year they can contact the sponsor Janis Morgan during open house next year where new members can sign up.
