Chapin Baseball recognized at Chapin vs Newberry Football Game
“It’s Ring season” said Chapin Baseball’s twitter. The 2018 4A State Champions will receive their rings Friday prior to the football game and then will be recognized at the end of the 1st quarter. Chapin defeated Airport High School 2-1 in the second and final game of the 2018 4A state championship. The Chapin Eagles earned the state title for the first time since 2002. This win became the school’s 11th state title. The final record for the Eagles was 27-6. “Whatever it took. We did it,” said Coach McLeod.
