Chapin High School Library is doing a new event called Book Pals.
Book Pals is a way for students to be able to talk about books and read books with other book lovers.
Students pick out packaged books with descriptions on them and when they are alone they reveal their books. When students reveal their books they get a card to write their messages to their pal.
Chapin High School librarian Mrs.Mayes says, “ Book Pals was made for students to choose books based on the description and ensures that it is something that interests you and takes you out of your comfort zone.”

She hopes that students will be able to expand their horizons by doing the Book Pals event.
