The Chapin Band has placed in the top 2 in their class for their competitions. At the Mustang Classic at Midland Valley High School September 27, the Chapin Band won first place in their class and 3rd place overall in the competition. Chapin High won best guard, best music, and best overall effect.
Despite raining before they performed and their electronics breaking, the Chapin Bands won second place in their class at the Swamp Classic at River Bluff High School Saturday October 6. They won best guard, and best music.
Chapin Bands returned to perform at state competition at River Bluff High School on October 26. The band is getting prepared with practices every day except Wednesdays and Sundays. CSPNEagles.com will continue with coverage of the band’s latest competition in an upcoming story.
Band members say they hope to get a medal this year at State and are ready to bring their all on the field.
