The mannequin challenge has been sweeping the nation.

Chapin students took time out to create a mannequin challenge that highlighted the various aspects of the school. Scenes were shot in the science labs, classrooms and the arena.  “Everybody was still, nobody moved,” said Nathan Phillips, a freshman, who viewed the video as it was being posted. “They looked like they had a lot of fun,” he added.

Putting the video together involved shooting different scenes and convincing teachers to let their classes participate.  “I thought it was a very difficult task to do and it required a lot of skill and concentration,” said Will Register, a senior, who was in the video.

But some students think the mannequin challenge has reached the limit. Senior Julia Wheaton said, “I’m over it.”
