The Voice of Chapin Winter Concert 2019
On Friday, December 13, the Voice of Chapin held its annual Winter Concert. The concert took place at Chapin Presbyterian Church at 7:30 PM. Tickets purchased ahead of time cost $7.50 for adults, $4 for students, and $30 for a household. Tickets purchased at the door cost $10 for adults, $5 for students, and $30 for a household.
The evening began with students singing the Chapin High School Alma Mater, and then continuing into the different choir classes songs.
Students sang a variety of songs ranging from holiday to pop culture and Latin pieces.
On this being her last Chapin High Winter Concert, Katie Christiansen (senior) said, “Part of me is happy because four years of choir has taken a lot of effort and time, so it seems like this has come full circle. But at the same time it makes me sad because of the people I will soon be leaving behind,” Christiansen said.
