“It is only our dedication towards our passion that distinguishes a champion from a crowd,” Abhijit Naskar.
From summer planning and ordering supplies to arriving hours early to Senior Sunrise, it is clear that the dedication and passion of our new senior advisor is apparent. It is with great honor to the class of 2025 that we welcome Dr. Lori Latham as the new senior advisor!
In an effort to get to know Dr. Latham, the staff of CSPN Eagles met to interview her, here are some of the things we learned. While Dr. Latham is an Eagle now she originally graduated from Lexington High School and was involved in many activities such as being the Vice president of HOSA. She was also a cheerleader and she said, “I was voted most spirited.”
This dedication and spirit is something that Dr. Latham is using it to make the class of 2025 have the best senior year. When asked how she liked being the new senior advisor she had very positive things to say. “So far so good,” she said, also adding, “I hope that you are all enjoying your senior year. I want to make it y’all’s best year!”
For all of the seniors, I can confidently say she is succeeding. Behind the enthusiasm and excitement, CSPNEagles.com wanted to discover what truly influenced Dr. Latham’s move towards senior advisor. The reason is much more wholesome than you would expect, Dr. Latham said, “because I am not a teacher anymore, I am the instructional coach for teachers. The bulk of my job is helping teachers and I miss that interaction with students.”
Dr. Latham said the most rewarding part of becoming senior advisor was Senior Sunrise. “Senior Sunrise was my first time seeing all of y’all. To see a majority of the seniors was really awesome!”
Finally, class of 2026, this is for you. When asked, Dr. Latham said “Yes” to continuing her journey as senior advisor next year. She said “It has been a lot of fun and I have gotten to interact with more seniors this year which has been super fun. I hope this year I will learn a lot and will constantly improve each year.”
What an amazing year the class of 2025 can expect with such an involved and amazing senior advisor. For Dr. Latham, the class of 2025 appreciates you! Go Eagles!
