Chapin Football Week Zero Player of the Week
Week Zero player of the week awarded to Kale Rhame.
CHAPIN, SC- Following Chapin’s 49-0 shutout over Columbia High School on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina, wide receiver Kale Rhame has been named the player of the game. Rhame led all players with 101 receiving yards on seven catches and a 29 yard touchdown catch.
When asked what about Rhame’s performance impressed the coaches, Head Coach Justin Gentry replied “(Kale) worked in the offseason on his hands and his catching ability has improved. The coaches expect big things out of him and we hope he can have more games like that one.”
Following Rhame’s big game, people may wonder whether Rhame may be more involved in the offense in future games.
“Kale is already a big part of our offense. We have four deadly weapons already out there with Joe Flowers, Evan Estridge, Kale and Will Register. They do big things for us and are all incorporated equally.”
Chapin next plays Mid-Carolina High School on Friday, August 28, at Cecil Woolbright Field in Chapin, South Carolina in the “Battle of the Bell.”
