Graduation Preparation
Student’s individual graduation plan (IGP) meetings for rising seniors began November 4 and will continue through December 9.
The meetings will be held with the student’s guidance counselor for three weeks. An additional week will be available to rising seniors for makeup appointments.
Rising seniors have already been assigned a date and time by their guidance counselor, but if you needed you can reschedule your meeting if the date and time do not work out for the parent and student.
Teresa Farell in guidance said, “There is an education economic development act that mandates that we have yearly individual graduation plan meetings with every student. The importance of it is for students to take classes in high school that will help them plan out their future aspirations.”
A calendar will be sent out to parents for rising juniors and sophomores to schedule their IGP meetings. If these students are unable to schedule their appointment, their guidance counselor will call them out of their social studies class for their meeting.
Those who need to change their meeting or schedule should contact Mrs. Fran Tucker in guidance.

Good article as it is of great importance to students! Only thing that could be improved is providing contact information for Mrs. Fran Tucker so readers don’t have to go looking it up. See y’all on Tuesday!
