I AM WE Dr.Ross’s new anti bullying campaign

Bullying is a problem, always has been. Whether it dealt with race, color, or gender, and sometimes for no reason at all to make fun of a person. At CHS “I AM WE” is the new slogan to start off a new anti bullying campaign. SLS (students loving students) has composed this with Dr.Ross to stop bullying, in every way they can. Either on the internet, verbal or in person. Bullying is a no tolerance at most schools but it still happens whether we want it too or not. And at CHS, it is time to stop.
Bullying affects everyone no matter who your are, if your the bully, the one being bulllied or the one who is witnessing the bullying happing. Bullying is a long term affect, it wont just affect the person for the time it’s happeing or an hour after.
Feeling infere to a student is also a form of bullying, telling them they are not good enough or that they “can’t” do something. It’s harder to get along than it is to put the other down.
Two of the main reasons people are bullied are because of appearance and social status. Bullies pick on the people they think don’t fit in, maybe because of how they look, how they act (for example, kids who are shy and withdrawn), their race or religion, or because the bullies think their target may be gay or lesbian.
Some bullies attack their targets physically, which can mean anything from shoving or tripping to punching or hitting, or even sexual assault. Others use psychological control or verbal insults to put themselves in charge. For example, people in popular groups or cliques often bully people they categorize as different by excluding them or gossiping about them (psychological bullying). They may also taunt or tease their targets (verbal bullying).
Bullying is never right, even if you think that it wont hurt someone, words hurt and sometimes actions speak louder than words and bullying needs to end here.
