Too Old for Trick or Treat or not?

With Halloween finally here, students were asked the age old question, “Do you think High School Students are too old for Trick or Treating?” Most of the students seemed to take the opinion that there is nothing wrong with dressing up and getting free candy and participating in the door-to-door tradition. But some students say that high school students are better off leaving the candy for the younger children.

  • “No,because there’s no definite age to start or stop, it’s a holiday that’s fun for everyone and who doesn’t love free candy!” Austin Settles, junior.
  • “I think there shouldn’t be a stereotype of being too old or too cool for trick or treating because it’s supposed to be a time for the community to come together and. I’m not participating in trick or treating tonight, but I was a cow on Saturday.” Sidney Smith, sophomore
