Screaming Eagles Season Comes to an End
The Screaming Eagles is a group of special needs children from around the Chapin community who come together with the help of Chapin High school to participate in sporting activities. On Monday, April 23rd, the Screaming Eagles had their end of the season banquet where the athletes received awards for their hard work and participation.
Members of the Lexington County Police Department, Chapin High School Student Government, as well as the Chapin High School Women’s Soccer Team attended this pizza party banquet as well as the Screaming Eagles and their family members.
A senior Chapin Soccer member, Amanda Esposito, loves participating with the screaming eagles and said, “Being able to help with the screaming eagles is a great experience because I get to see the joy on their faces and knowing that I can make a difference in their life is an indescribable feeling.” The Chapin Women’s Soccer Team felt very honored for being invited to this special event where they were able to watch these children receive their well deserved award.
