Health Science Students Surprised with Lab Coats
On December 10th, 2018 students from the Health Science 3 and 4 CNA program were surprised by their teacher with new lab coats.
Becca Zeigler from CNA explains how “our teacher told us that Nurse Arnold (the school nurse) was doing a clinic and people were going to come in had have their vitals taken, and she needed help. So we walked down to the media room and our parents were there clapping, it was all a big surprise.”
The coats symbolize the end of their clinical lab instruction before they go out into the community, said Mrs. Echerer, RN BSN Health Science CNA Instructor.
Ashley Enghauser student exclaimed how, “I thought we were just having just a little orientation, it was a big surprise!”
