Chapin High School’s 2025 girls’ volleyball team has had a successful season, with recent wins against Dutch Fork A 3-0 shutout win in October, which was their second win against them that season. And Lexington, A 3-1 victory over them in September, which was a notable win after a series of losses against them in previous years, extending winning streaks at different points. Chapin High School’s volleyball team also reached the second round of the playoffs in October 2025, where they played against Lucy Beckham High School.
They finished their regular season with a strong record of 16-3-1 and showed significant skill, especially from senior players like Lindsay Hodges, who had multiple impressive performances, including a career-high of five aces against Dutch Fork, Ella Speight, Contributed significantly with strong digs and aces in several matches. And Zoe Suarez, was a key player in a dominant win against Dutch Fork, posting her highest dig total in a recent stretch and helping the team achieve a season-high in aces. All the players had standout performances, and showed their Chapin Eagles pride.
Adam Speight coaches the Chapin High School indoor volleyball team, while the head coach for the indoor team was recently named Region Coach of the Year, indicating their success. The specific responsibilities and duties of the coaching staff are involved with training and leading the team to compete.
