5 Wrestlers make 5A individual State Championships
Mitchell O’Connor gets his 100th win.
Five wrestlers are advancing to the SCHSL Individual State Championships, after Chapin hosted the 5A Lower State Individual tournament on February 15-16. On day one of the Individual Lower State tournament Mitchell O’Conner earned his 100th and 101st career victories.
The Eagles competed in 13 weight classes and 5 qualified for the state finals.
Competing in the state finals are the Weight class 182- Shawn Haile, 132 Mitchell O’Conner, 138 Josh Green, 195 Hunter Dixon, 120 Alexander Stubbs.
Chapin will travel to Anderson February 22-23 to compete in the State Individual Finals.
