The group of 36 high school students, led by Mrs. Morgan, will team build while competing against other Beta Club students in academics and the arts. The competitions include different forms of art, English, Spanish, Science, Math, History, speech, poetry, advertising, and talent. Students will also have the opportunity to run for a National Beta Club Office.

Chapin’s Beta Club has won in at least one category for the past nine years and has advanced to the National Beta Club Convention more than once.

This is the fifth time Mrs. Morgan has led Chapin High School’s Beta Club to the state convention. When asked how she is expecting her students to do, she said, “You never know how it’s going to go. I just want them to have the experience of competing”.
