The Chapin Eagles Rugby Club is participating in their first competitive game this year against the Alpharetta Phoenixes Saturday inAlpharetta,Georgia.
The Eagles have played Alpharetta twice in the past. The first time was at a tournament with the Eagles barely pulling off the victory. The second match was at theAlternativeAcademylast year and the Eagles dominated 54-0. They are expected to give Chapin more of a run for their money this year.
This should be a good year for the Eagles with many returning players for their first team and many strong new players for the second team.
The regular season begins in January.
