South Carolina was not in the path of the Solar Eclipse on April 8th. But according to the USA Today Eclipse Tracker the peak time of viewing in the Chapin area was at 3:09 pm, with the eclipse starting at 1:51 pm and ending at 4:24 pm.
Some students were able to view the eclipse using eclipse glasses. While Ms. Alderman, science teacher, used a colander to make eclipse shaped circles on the ground.
