I can’t walk though the halls without the thought of leaving hitting me. It is hard to imagine that in ninth grade my main focus in high school was one day getting out. Chapin high did not become enjoyable till 10 grades when I joined cross country and track. Thanks to Cross country I have now been exposed to the good side of Chapin that I never saw from the classroom, which restored my hope in humanity. Thank you Cross Country, I will always remember you. However that is not the only thing that will be missed next year. I am going to miss being able to talk to my friends everyday. Art class and journalism will both be highly missed. I am also going to miss all the cool teachers that I have been lucky enough to have.  Don’t get me wrong I have had my fair share of bad days here. There have been many teachers who I didn’t like. ID Nazis and immature students get me mad on a monthly basis. However I feel like the good out does the bad. As annoying as the students and teachers can get sometimes, I am going to miss being somewhere where I’ve known everyone since kindergarten. Next year I will not have any teachers who care about their students. Everything next year will be completely different; however I am completely prepared thanks toCoach Rogers, Mr. Anderson, Mrs. Kearse, Coach Hill, Mr. Jones, Both Sullivans, Coach Miller, Mrs. King-Rangel, Mrs. Conti, Mrs. Boone, Mr. Funk, Mr. Compton, Mrs. Brinkley, Mrs. Malone, Mrs. Bartholomew, Mrs. Schiferl, Mr. Maior, Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Toe, Mrs. Barton, Coach McLeod, Mrs. Bussell, Mrs. Ruth, Mrs. Dooley, Mrs. Landrum, Coach LeGrand, Coach Hines, and a special thanks to Mrs. Gilbert.
