Beesburg best in class

Most students at ChapinHigh Schoolknow about senior superlatives, and every year members of the senior class are nominated into a certain category and voted on by the senior class. As many people want to win these superlatives, it is considered an honor to receive one.
Winning any award would be very exciting to anyone, and senior Chloë Beesburg is not different
She says, “I was ecstatic when I found out that I won!”
Beesburg won best dressed 2012, as much of CHS already knows. Many girls come into high school hoping to be awarded best dressed, Beesburg was not different.
Beesburg says “The whole time I’ve been in high school I’ve wanted to win best dressed.”
As Beesburg has always wanted to win best dressed she has also had to put forth the extra effort to make sure she wore nice clothing to school on a daily basis. Although some may find this to be challenging, Beesburg does not find it to be too much effort.
Beesburg adds, “It wasn’t much more effort, I just tried to not wear the same clothes twice.”
Winning this award means that one must be elected by their classmates, which requires that the majority of the seniors at CHS had to think that Beesburg had the over all best style.
Senior Leeann Sanders said, “I think she should have won. I know that I definitely voted for her. In my opinion, she always looks perfectly put together.”
Senior Hannah Fallaw added, “She dresses really cute, and I think it’s great. She really deserved it.”
Beesburg does not think that she is better than anyone by winning best dressed, or that other girls in the senior class do not dress nice; she is very modest about the situation.
Beesburg says, “Brooke [Horton] and Hallie [Chapman] also have really nice outfits. If one of them had won I would have been disappointed, but they would have deserved it.”
As the school year comes to a close some might think that Beesburg may stop dressing as nice now that she has won the award she wanted.
She disagrees, “I still try to look nice for school. I have never worn a t-shirt to school yet, but I can definitely see myself at the very end of the year being much more lenient and wearing t-shirts.”
